At the edge of Bay View, (probably
further than you usually go-so branch out kiddies,) is our new favorite bar Blackbird. With an awesome line up of specials, your wallet will leave happy no matter what day you go in. This dim lit bar is deceptively
large with a back room full of games including a small arcade, a pinball machine and a jukebox. Also to note, they’ve got a photo booth-always a good take away after a night of boozing. Blackbird is the epitome of a good neighborhood
‘corner’ bar. The vintage atmosphere is welcoming and anyone would feel at home here with the large booths and friendly bartenders. There’s trivia on Thursdays and Bingo on Sundays. However I suggest
wandering down there on Tuesdays for FREE tacos around 6pm paired with $3 margaritas. Just make sure you get there on time-it goes fast, what do you expect from a free dinner!
