MJ's Tavern

Milwaukee’s Third Ward is full of bars of all types – from high-end restaurants to smaller taverns there is something for everyone. MJ’s is a smaller establishment, coining itself ‘the Third Ward’s neighborhood tavern’. It can be difficult to find even if directly attempting to, but has all the personality of those on the higher end and more. Solidifying its’ place on the list of Milwaukee’s dive bars by holding a weekly Friday fish fry, there are various food and drink specials for every night of the week; the biggest being Monday and Thursday’s $1 beers. These include Old Style, Pabst, and Blatz. Many dives have their own fish fries, but MJ’s makes its mark in a different way: wings with several different sauce choices for even the most discriminating tastes. Looking for a place to get a cold beer and delicious wings? MJ’s should be your first choice.
